Maya comes from the small village of Baldovo. She was lucky to have owners, who were very fond of her and thinking of her welfare. When it became apparent that they couldn’t look after her anymore, they got in touch with us. They asked us to take Maya on so she could continue to have the good quality of life she deserves.
Maya has now been in the valley with us for a few years. She has proven to be an animal with a gentle, calm personality. Maya gets along with everyone, donkey, dog, or man, but sometimes keeps herself to herself. We are happy to have her, belonging with us and enjoying her retirement years surrounded by caring people and donkey friends.
