Oggy had been part of our outreach program since the very beginning but became a member of our big donkey family at the Valley in 2021. His human passed away suddenly and the family didn’t feel like they could look after a donkey. Thankfully, we had established a good relationship with them and they asked us to take him in.
Oggy has impressive physical stature and cannot go unnoticed. His persona and his confidence reflect his size – wherever he goes, he steals the show. He has the rare talent to draw attention and hold it without being pushy. He is most often seen in the company of an affectionate, delicate donkey called Cassandra.
