Rony

Rony comes from Koprivlen. His owner contacted us because Rony was limping. It turned out he was working with a load that was too heavy for him. He had spent all winter resting and was out of shape. His rich diet hadn’t helped. We started therapy with medication and soon, Rony was improving. It was clear he needed a lot of time but his owner got a new donkey and we couldn’t convince him to keep both.
With us, Rony has made a full recovery. There is not a trace of trouble with his leg anymore. He gets along with other donkeys but Maya is his best friend. He can get overprotective. Before him, Marko used to be one of Maya’s best friends but now he is too old and weak to compete with Rony, who is full of energy and quite competitive.
