Simon

Simon comes from the village of Osina. He and his owner obviously shared a special bond and the man was very attached to his four-legged friend. However, he had to leave for abroad and took the initiative with us – he brought Simon to the valley and moved on to the next chapter of his life with his mind at rest that his donkey was in good hands.
It was easy to see why Simon had inspired such affection. He is a sweet donkey, calm and relaxed, always ready for some gentle love. He has made friends with the other donkeys and the people who work there or come to visit. But he is not forgotten by his old owner – every time he comes back to Bulgaria, he makes sure to stop by the valley and check on Simon.
